Laser Lounge STL proudly utilizes the Lumenis LightSheer® QUATTRO™ Diode Laser. 

The FDA classifies laser hair removal as permanent reduction. It is impossible to eliminate all hairs. The hairs that remain are lighter in color and finer in texture. The average person should expect an 85%+ permanent reduction in those hairs dark enough and coarse enough, to treat. 

There may be discomfort associated with some treatment areas, but overall it is tolerable. Many individuals describe laser hair removal as a "hot pinch".  If you've had a tattoo... breathe easy, this is nothin' ;)

Yes! The U.S Food and Drug Administration approved Laser Hair Removal in 1997.  

During Laser Hair Removal, the laser emits an infrared light which is absorbed by the pigment in the hair. That light energy is then converted to heat, and damages the hair follicles. When follicles are destroyed, hair can no longer grow. 

This will vary depending on the area that is treated. Initially, for treatments on the face we will see you every 6 weeks. For other body parts we advise scheduling every 8-10 weeks. As you get further into treatments we stretch these increments further apart based on your hair growth.

16, guardian consent is required for minors under 18.

 Yes, as with any cosmetic procedure there are possible side effects which can include:

• Mild swelling around the hair follicles
• Pigment changes may occur, especially in those with darker skin – these changes are usually temporary, but in rare instances can be long-lasting
• Redness and irritation of the skin
• Blistering, crusting, scarring or other changes in skin texture

Laser Lounge STL will not conduct laser hair removal treatments during pregnancy. 

With your physician's consent it is considered safe to undergo laser hair removal while nursing.

Fear not, YES, you can certainly proceed with treatment.  We just ask that you use a tampon.

Unfortunately, yes. The technician will have to work around the tattoo. Laser light attracts itself to pigment so that area has to be avoided. We advise completing the laser hair removal process before getting a tattoo.

Gratuity is never expected. While we will never deny a client's wish to tip, just know that we are even more flattered by REVIEWS and REFFERALS.
